Pre School!

Not for profit day care for children

Bright Sparks Pre School is a non-profit day care for children ages 2-4 based in Great Preston, Leeds. We run our services throughout the day, including a Breakfast Club and an After School session for those who usually work late.

Bright Sparks Pre-School is situated in purpose-built premises in the grounds of Great Preston C of E School in West Yorkshire. There are enclosed outdoor areas and the children regularly go out on local outings, for example, to the church, to the woods for nature walks and visits to the library. The pre-school opens from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Children attend for a variety of sessions and the pre-school is flexible to your needs. The pre-school provides funded early education for two, three and four year old children. Support is provided for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language.
The pre-school employs a team of seven childcare staff who work directly with the children and in addition, a cleaner. The manager holds an Early Years Foundation Degree and the deputy manager is a Level 3 Nursery Nurse. The pre-school is regulated by Ofsted. We have an open door policy and therefore you do not need to make an appointment to visit us to have a look around. We will always have a member of the management team available to give you a guided tour.

What people say?

Its lovely to see Bella has so much fun while at pre-school seeing the photo’s is a lovely added bonus giving us an insight into her days. The whole family including grandparents were able to see her enjoyment/ The photos came of use especially when we could look at them together and she could describe what was happening which also encouraged her to tell us more in depth tale of her day. Great idea.

I just wanted to say thank you very much for organising and taking the children on the trip yesterday to Scarborough. Scarlett sounds like she had an absolutely fabulous time and saw lots of interesting things.

After moving from another nursery as unsettled, worried we may have the same problems, but have not had a single tear, and she loves coming to Bright Sparks. The ladies are really friendly and lovely environment. A great nursery. Thank you.

Both of my boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Bright Sparks, always full of tales of what they had been up to and who they had played with. We think its been a huge asset to both boys to have started their school journey here, we are sad to say goodbye.
